A fast-moving, hilarious short Christmas play script. Santa's Reindeer save the day by teaching the Elves not to discriminate against Grimaldi the Gnome, just because he's different. They prove that everyone has special talents and can contribute to Santa's Christmas team.

Synopsis:
 It is just one week before Christmas. Santa is contemplating a new cookie one of his elves has developed when Mrs. Santa informs him that his foreman is outside with a complaint about Grimaldi the Gnome. The foreman, S. Elf, explains that the Elfish head of every department in Santa's workshop which Grimaldi has worked in has requested Grimaldi be transferred within a few hours because he messes everything up. Grimaldi is called in and very nervously explains that he is trying. The other heads of departments, all Elves, now enter and try to explain all at once why Grimaldi is a problem... all except for the Elf in charge of feeding the Reindeer, that is. He says the Reindeer had to work out a similar situation with Rudolf, and calls the Reindeer into Santa's parlor to testify. The Reindeer recount the story of Rudolf and his acceptance into the group and urge the Elves to give Grimaldi another chance. Infused with the Spirit of Christmas, the Elves agree and all are able to work in harmony with Grimaldi to fill the Christmas wishes of all the world's children.

Description:
 This 10 -12 minute short Christmas play script features 4 major roles and 21 smaller delightful supporting characters. There is an expandable chorus of non-speaking elf assistants which can be any size to accommodate the desired size of the cast. Gender is interchangeable on many of the roles. This short Christmas play script is excellent for elementary school from about 3rd grade or older or even middle and high school casts (especially when performing it for young audiences) and works well for adults, too. The hard copy version is 8 1/2" x 11" in size with spiral binding (which lets it lie flat on a desk, when opened) and color cover.
