Synopsis:
 A group of people lose the baby of one of their womenfolk while attempting to make a new home in the jungle. That child, Mowgli, who is lost in the jungle, is saved from a ferocious tiger and reared by the Wolf Pack. With his friends and famous Disney Jungle Book characters, Baloo the Bear and Bageera the Black Panther, as his teachers, Mowgli learns the Laws of the Jungle and eventually banishes his old enemy, the tiger, in this thrilling original adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale, The Jungle Book.

Description:
 This 50-minute one-act play script of the Jungle Book was originally designed for several young classes to produce. It has several large choruses of animals which can be expanded or shrunk in size, or actors can be double cast in all of them. It also features all of the favorite Disney Jungle Book characters made famous in the movies: 1 strong male character (Mowgli), 2 good supporting animal characters of any gender, with many smaller supporting roles (both animal and human) and choruses which are expandable in size, depending on the number of students to be cast. Good for early childhood, with leads being played by students 3rd grade or older elementary, and even good for middle and high school students, especially if performing for young audiences. This Jungle Book play script can be an intergenerational adventure, as there are both strong adult and child roles. Production ideas for sets, costumes, are included at the back. The hard copy version of this Jungle Book play script is 8 1/2" x 11" spiral bound with color cover.
